THE BRADFORD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (INCORPORATED)
Sir,
Exchange,
Bradford,
528
28th September, 1914.
A number of our members have been doing business with English and German firms in Hong Kong, but since the commencement of the war, communications have
been almost entirely suspended. I am now directed to enquire whether you can inform us if there is any pros- pect of business with this British Colony being resumed, and if you can obtain from the authorities at Hong Kong
a list of German and Austrian firms who are in a nosition:
to do business. Perhaps you would be good enough to
telegraph for this information.
Thanking you in anticipation of an early reply,
I am, &c.,
(Signed) P. ANDERSON,
Secretary.
The Assistant Secretary,
Commercial Department,
Board of Trade,
Gwydyr House,
